L&T sets up science laboratory in Mumbai

Mumbai: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) set up a science laboratory at Milind Viyalay here as part of 'Project Ujjwal'.

About 2,000 students of the school would be able to use the laboratory, L&T said in a statement.

Project Ujjwal looks to influence the quality of education enriching more than 10,000 underprivileged students in Mumbai, L&T said.

Under Project Ujjwal, L&T undertakes teacher training workshops in Maths, Science, English, Geography and campus improvement.

'Through its social investments, L&T addresses the needs of communities residing in the vicinty of its facilities, taking sustainable initiatives in health, education, environment conservation, infrastructure and community development,' L&T Board Member RN Mukhija said.
