MapmyIndia Bags Government Contracts Worth Over ₹110 Crore.
MapmyIndia recently announced two major government contracts, including a ₹110 crore deal with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and an agreement to develop the Survey of India’s National Geo-Spatial Platform, signaling a significant expansion of the company’s government business.
Under the IOCL contract, MapmyIndia will develop an integrated vehicle tracking and management system for approximately 23,000 LPG trucks operating across 150 supply locations nationwide. The system will feature geofencing, route optimization, fleet monitoring, and emergency response capabilities, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, driver safety, and cost management.
In addition, MapmyIndia will support the Survey of India’s National Geo-Platform, which will standardize and manage foundational geospatial datasets, including imagery, digital elevation models, and administrative boundaries. The platform will enable data sharing among central government ministries, academic institutions, and industry through web services and APIs.
These contracts reinforce MapmyIndia’s position as a key provider of advanced geospatial solutions for government infrastructure and services.
