MEIL Secures $225 Million Project from Kuwait Oil Company.

Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) has secured a $225.5 million (KWD 69.23 million) contract from the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a New Gas Sweetening and Sulphur Recovery Facility (NGSF) in West Kuwait’s oil fields.

The project will be developed on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis, with an option for KOC to buy back the facility in the future. Execution will take place in two phases: the initial construction and subsequent operation and maintenance.

This win marks a significant expansion of MEIL’s presence in the Middle East energy sector.
