Metro Group Aims for ₹1,000 Crore Revenue from Thane Projects.

Metro Group, a prominent real estate developer in the Mumbai Metropolitan region, is targeting ₹1,000 crore in revenue over the next three years with its new projects in Thane. The company plans to develop 1 million square feet of premium luxury and commercial space in the area.

The Group will invest ₹250 crore in four luxury projects in Thane, aiming to cater to professionals who prefer the city’s modern lifestyle over Mumbai. These projects will feature contemporary ecosystems designed for discerning buyers.

Mahesh Gala, Managing Director of Metro Group, highlighted Thane’s potential as India's first "15-minute city," where essential amenities are within a 15-minute reach. “We are focusing on sustainability, eco-friendly living, and community well-being, offering a service industry model for our home buyers,” he said.

The ₹250 crore investment for these projects will come from a mix of equity, working capital, and customer advances. Metro Group aims to complete the developments by 2027, with 70% of the projects dedicated to luxury homes—primarily 3 and 4 BHK units priced between ₹2 crore and ₹5 crore. The remaining 30% will focus on commercial, semi-luxury, and high-end retail spaces.

Additionally, the company is introducing certified construction with a 5-year leakproof guarantee. Metro Group has already invested nearly ₹500 crore in ongoing projects and plans to invest an additional ₹1,000 crore over the next five years.

Gala noted a significant increase in demand from women homebuyers in Thane, reflecting evolving market trends.
