Monorail's trial run successful.

A successful trial run of the monorail was conducted recently, where the monorail started from Wadala Depot to Lower Parel. The 9km trial run started at 11:38am and was concluded at 12:34pm which ran at a speed of 15-kmph.

More trial runs are scheduled in the coming weeks, said an Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) official.

The MMRDA had earlier completed a trial run from Wadala to GTB Nagar on August 15 which ran at a stretch of 3 km. The entire monorail Chembur-Wadala- Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk- Jacob Circle is a 20km long monorail corridor.
