MPMRCL MD Inspects Ongoing Work on Bhopal Metro Project.

Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MPMRCL) Managing Director, S. Krishna Chaitanya, conducted an inspection of the Bhopal Metro Project recently, including a visit to the Subhash Nagar Depot, to assess construction progress and coordinate with officials, consultants, and contractors for the planned July launch of passenger operations.

The inspection covered key areas such as depot infrastructure, station construction, and viaducts, with a focus on ensuring timely completion and efficient resource utilization.

Chaitanya’s visit began at the Subhash Nagar Depot, where he reviewed the progress of the auxiliary sub-station, traction sub-station, and the control room in the administrative building. He emphasized the importance of completing these infrastructure components on schedule.

He also directed contractors to increase the workforce at both the depot and stations, suggesting the implementation of both day and night shifts to expedite work.

At Karond metro station, Chaitanya received updates on the rapid progress of the viaduct construction, highlighting the significant strides made toward completing the elevated corridor.
