Namma Metro Yellow Line to Transform Bengaluru’s Public Transport by 2025.

Bengaluru is poised for a major transformation in its urban transportation network with the highly anticipated launch of the Namma Metro Yellow Line, scheduled for late January 2025. The 19.15 km metro line will connect RV Road to Bommasandra, offering improved commuting options for thousands of residents. With an investment of ₹5,745 crore, the Yellow Line will significantly enhance access to key areas such as Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout, Silk Board Junction, and Electronics City, streamlining travel across the southern industrial and residential hubs of the city.

A standout feature of the Yellow Line is the Jayadeva Hospital station, which will become India’s tallest metro station, standing at 39 meters. This six-level structure will serve as an interchange hub between the Yellow and Pink Lines. The station will include a range of facilities, such as an underpass, roads, flyover, concourse, and platforms, ensuring smooth and efficient travel for passengers.
