Navi Mumbai airport gets environment approval

Mumbai: The proposed greenfield airport at Navi Mumbai has got environmental clearance and work on the project will begin next year.

The basic facilities at the airport will be operational by September-October 2013.

Mahrashtra Government has already appointed a consultant and will start the tender process for selecting a developer.
