State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd has secured four contracts worth a combined ₹501.45 crore across education infrastructure, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and corporate social responsibility (CSR)-linked projects.
In a regulatory filing recently, NBCC said the orders were received in the ordinary course of business.
The largest order, valued at ₹430.69 crore, has been awarded by the Rajasthan Council of School Education. Under the turnkey contract, NBCC will construct 2,256 science laboratories covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects across 922 government schools in Rajasthan.
The company has also received a ₹60.61 crore EPC contract from Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) for developing infrastructure facilities for NFT₹ at BEL.
In addition, NBCC has secured two project management agency (PMA) assignments from Power Finance Corporation Ltd under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The first CSR-linked order, worth ₹5.38 crore, involves providing PMA services for the construction of a state-of-the-art tourist facilitation centre in Aizawl, Mizoram. The second order, valued at ₹4.77 crore, is for the construction of a school building under Phase II at Dr K B Hedgewar Higher Secondary School of Arts Commerce & Science in Cujira, Bambolim, Goa.
The latest wins strengthen NBCC’s order pipeline as the company continues to expand its project management consultancy and infrastructure development portfolio across government and institutional projects.
