NHPC Provides Update on Kuppa Pumped Storage Project.

NHPC Ltd has announced that survey and investigation works for the 750 MW Kuppa Pumped Storage Project in Chhota Udaipur, Gujarat, were temporarily halted due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the company’s control. The work is expected to resume at the earliest.

As a result, NHPC has revised the anticipated timeline for investment in the project, shifting the commencement from FY 2024-25 to FY 2025-26. The company remains committed to progressing the project as soon as conditions allow.
