PM Modi Inaugurates Two New Highways Worth ₹11,000 Crore to Decongest Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated two significant highway projects-the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II)-worth a combined ₹11,000 crore. The projects are a key part of the government's comprehensive strategy to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity in the national capital and its surrounding regions.

The new infrastructure is designed to dramatically reduce travel time for commuters. Once fully operational, these highways are expected to provide a significant reduction in travel time from areas like Sonipat, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, and Gurugram to Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

The two projects are anticipated to not only ease traffic flow but also improve the daily commute for millions of residents, offering a more direct and efficient route and cutting down on gridlock within the city.
