POCL Enterprises Inaugurates New Plant in Maraimalai Nagar.

POCL Enterprises Ltd. recently announced the commencement of commercial production at its newly established plant in Maraimalai Nagar. Located at A1, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Maraimalai Nagar, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu – 603209, the facility began operations effective May 23, 2025, following the receipt of necessary consent from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) and hazardous waste approvals.

This expansion significantly boosts the company's lead metal business. The new unit will add an additional refining capacity of 11,000 MTPA (Metric Tonnes Per Annum) and a smelting capacity of 11,000 MTPA for POCL Enterprises.

The company anticipates that this substantial increase in capacity will enable it to meet rising market demand, manage larger contracts, and ultimately contribute to a significant boost in revenue. The new plant is projected to generate an additional revenue of approximately ₹200 crore per annum for the company.
