Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer PURE EV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JioThings, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms, to integrate smart digital clusters and telematics into its EV lineup.
The collaboration aims to enhance the user experience by leveraging advanced IoT technology, seamless connectivity, and digital integration. “Exploring JioThings’ superior IoT capabilities within our vehicles represents a significant opportunity to elevate PURE EV’s products to the highest industry standards,” said Nishanth Dongari, Founder & MD, PURE EV.
Ashish Lodha, President, Jio Platforms, added, “By integrating our advanced IoT solutions, we aim to support PURE EV in delivering the best electric two-wheeler experience to customers, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and connectivity.”
As part of the partnership, PURE EV will explore JioThings’ smart digital clusters, including end-to-end IoT solutions, to enhance the functionality and interactivity of its electric two-wheelers. The integration of telematics, enabled by 4G connectivity, will allow customers to monitor real-time vehicle performance and optimize operations.
JioThings’ 4G Smart Digital Cluster, powered by AvniOS (based on Android Open Source Project), offers real-time data analytics, two-wheeler interface customization, and full HD+ touchscreen display compatibility. The system enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to accelerate IoT adoption within their products, improving efficiency and connectivity across the EV ecosystem.
