Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd Emerges L1 for East Coast Railway Order.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from East Coast Railway for a major infrastructure project involving the construction of third and fourth railway lines between Nergundi and Barang (22 km) and Khurda Road–Vizianagaram (363 km) on the Bhadrak–Vizianagaram section, spanning a total of 385 km.

The scope of work includes the construction of key bridges under Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. These comprise Bridge No. 539 (16x30.5m open web steel girder over the Birupa river), Bridge No. 544 (32x65.84m open web steel girder over the Mahanadi river), Bridge No. 553 (18x45.70m open web steel girder over the Kathjori river), and Bridge No. 557 (20x45.70m open web steel girder over the Kuakhai river).

The total project value stands at ₹967.93 crore (₹967,92,66,661.70), including 18% GST.
