Reliance to invest $8-$9 bn in Jamnagar

Mumbai: Reliance Industries plans to invest $8-$9 billion at its Jamnagar site over three to four years, Chairman Mukesh Ambani told shareholders on Friday.




He said the new refinery being built by Reliance Petroleum would be completed ahead of schedule.




Ambani also said Reliance would raise its paraxylene capacity to 4.5 million tonnes a year from 1.9 million tonnes a year in two phases.
