Renaissance awards $150mn worth of Duqm deals.

Renaissance Services has awarded construction contracts worth $150mn (OR75mn) to four local contractors to develop the first phase of a project to provide accommodation for workers in the Duqm Special Economic Zone (SEZAD).

The firm appointed PWA and Centre Point Engineering to carry out the design work for a Permanant Accommodation for Contractors facility providing up to 16,000 beds for workers, last year.

Fourteen firms submitted bids for different aspects, and seven were placed on a shortlist.
