Revised budget for Indiramma project.

The Central Water Commission cleared revised estimate of Indiramma flood flow canal project recently.

The funds to be released for the project will now be Rs. 5,940.09 crore.

The decision was taken at the 128{+t}{+h}technical advisory committee meeting of the Central Water Commission in New Delhi. Now of the estimated budget, 25 percent grant will be released by the State.

The new ayacut to be made under the project will be spread over two lakh acres in Karimnagar and Warangal districts. The project was cleared by the CWC due to guided efforts of Minister for Irrigation T. Harish Rao.

Officers present in the meeting include G. Anil Kumar, Chief Engineer Projects (Irrigation), Karimnagar.
