Röchling inaugurates Euro 2.5-mn plant in Vadodara.
The Indian arm of German plastics engineering company, Röchling Engineering Plastics (India) Pvt Ltd. recently inaugurated its second plant in Vadodara, set up with an investment of around €2.5 million.
With its eyes on strengthening India operations, Röchling plans to infuse additional €5 million, top company officials announced.
Franz Lübbers, Member of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Röchling Industrial — the parent company, said, “With growing demand for quality products in the Indian industry, it is planned to invest another €5 million into product lines and capacity expansion in India in the near future.”
The new facility was inaugurated in the presence of Jürgen Morhard, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Bernhard Steinruecke, Director General of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce along with Manoj Kumar, Managing Director (MD), Röchling Engineering Plastics (India).
The company introduced latest extrusion line that works round-the-clock to manufacture parent company’s globally popular product Polystone P (Polypropylene), in sheet form.
