Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd. arm commences Commercial Operation of unit 1 of Rongnichu Hydro Power Plant.

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd. has announced that the unit No. one of 56.5 MW of 113 MW Rongnichu Hydro Electric Plant installed by Madhya Bharat Power Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of the Company, has been granted clearance under Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2016 for supply of power post successful completion of trial run operation after demonstrating continuous operation at full load for 12 hours and testing for 10% overload (62.15 MW) on 25th June 2021. Test run of Unit 2 is progressing satisfactorily.
