Delhi-based clean energy manufacturer Servotech Renewable Power System on Wednesday announced that it has won a ₹73.7 crore grid-connected rooftop solar project from the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
The project involves the deployment of rooftop solar systems across the Kavali division, benefiting 5,886 Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households. Servotech will manage the full scope of work, including design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of operation and maintenance.
“This order reflects our commitment to advancing inclusive clean energy growth and demonstrates our ability to execute large-scale distributed solar deployments with precision and quality,” said Sarika Bhatia, Whole-Time Director of Servotech Renewable Power System.
The project will be executed through a utility-led aggregation model, aiming to enhance access to grid-connected solar power for underserved communities.
“Servotech Renewable remains focused on empowering communities and strengthening India’s journey toward a sustainable, energy-secure future,” Bhatia added.
