Siemens plans a Rs 200 Cr unit in Goa Goa: Siemens proposes to invest Rs 200 crore in Goa over the next five years to set up two modern manufacturing facilities.

With these investments, Siemens intends to make Goa a hub for energy automation products that will cater to the domestic and emerging markets in India and overseas Asia.

The energy automation manufacturing facility would come up at Venra industrial estate of south Goa.

The facilities would be for energy automation and the other for medium voltage products.

The upcoming facility is scheduled for production in 12 months from now and its initial capacity would be half a million.
