Sindh Govt to initiate feasibility work for cluster development

Karachi: Sindh government has selected four consultant firms for initiating feasibility work for the 'cluster development' of agro-based small and medium enterprises.

The consultants, who would carry out the feasibility, include Sajjad Haider, Sardar and Sardar, AC Consultant and Sadad Haider. The selected firms would work on various clusters including red chillies, mango, guava, vegetable, rice milling and dates and submit the report till June 30, 2009.

The Finance Department has also released Rs 13 million to the consultants for the purpose, they added. The process zones for the said clusters would be set up in two years.
