State to seek release of funds for projects.

The Telangana Government is likely to press for release of ₹139 crore pending funds for Sriramsagar Project Stage-II and Bhima Lift Irrigation Scheme at the Union Water Resources Ministry’s meeting on Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana in New Delhi.

Minister for Irrigation T. Harish Rao, who is also member of the sub-committee on PMKSY, held a meeting here on Monday with officials and directed them to submit the utilisation certificates for funds already released by the Centre under the two schemes.
