Suhana Masala and Ecofactory Foundation to Establish Spices Centre of Excellence in Telangana.

Suhana Masala, a leading spices company, has partnered with the Ecofactory Foundation to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for spices production in Telangana. The CoE will be located near Suhana’s existing facility in Sangareddy and aims to modernize spice farming by providing farmers with training and resources to produce goods that meet international standards.

The initiative was announced following a meeting between Suhana Director Anand Chordia and Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

Over the next 2-3 years, the two organizations plan to train 25,000 to 30,000 farmers in advanced farming techniques to enhance spice quality. The training will focus on meeting global benchmarks, improving market access, and boosting income for farmers.

The project will also emphasize eco-friendly farming practices to protect and preserve Telangana’s natural resources. “This initiative will ensure sustainable spice production while empowering farmers and promoting the state’s agricultural sector,” the Industries Ministry stated.
