Sundaram Home Expands Presence in Chennai with New Ambattur Branch.

Sundaram Home Finance has strengthened its presence in Chennai by opening a new branch in Ambattur, a rapidly developing industrial hub on the city’s western outskirts. This expansion follows the company’s launch of an Emerging Business (EB) branch in Tambaram earlier this year.

With the new branch, the company aims to achieve ₹50 crore in disbursements from its Chennai Zone in the EB segment over the next 12 months. The Ambattur branch will serve both prime home finance customers and small business owners seeking working capital finance.

“Ambattur is fast growing into a separate township with rapid industrialisation and a large number of manufacturing and IT firms in the area. In addition to targeting prime home finance customers, we will also provide working capital finance to small businesses and tap into opportunities in the affordable housing finance segment,” said D Lakshminarayanan, MD, Sundaram Home Finance.

Earlier this month, the company further expanded its network in North Tamil Nadu with the launch of four new Emerging Business branches in Arani, Ambur, Gudiyattam, and Thirupathur, reinforcing its presence in the region.
