Talks on for coal linkage for power plants of 33,000 MW.

The Power Ministry has initiated talks on coal linkages for 33,000 MW capacity plants that are likely to come up during 2017-22.

'We have to think about the 13th Plan period (2017-22) now, we require coal linkage for 33,000 MW capacity plants and for that we have initiated discussions with the Coal Ministry,' Power Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said after meeting Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal.
