Karnataka Targets $150 Billion Investment in Electronics Manufacturing.

Karnataka is aiming to attract $150 billion in investments in mobile and electronic product manufacturing and design over the next ten years.

Recently, Industries Minister MB Patil met with a delegation led by Pankaj Mohindroo, Chairman of the India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA), to discuss a roadmap for the sector’s growth.

The push aligns with the Union Ministry of Electronics and IT’s electronics components manufacturing scheme, launched in April 2024, which offers performance-linked incentives and up to 25% capital subsidy to encourage investment in the sector.
