TATA Steel and TATA Cummins provide irrigation facility to Punsa farmers.

In order to increase the coverage of cultivable area and make farming more sustainable, TATA Steel in collaboration with TATA Cummins installed yet another lift irrigation system at Punsa.

Nearly 35 acres of land will be enriched for second and third crop cultivations and 55 farmers will be benefitted by the installation. Mr Biren Bhuta, Chief, Corporate Social Responsibility of TATA Steel and Mr Aswtha Ram, VP (Operations) of TATA Cummins inaugurated the lift irrigation system and dedicated it to the residents of this village recently in the presence of Mr Debdoot Mohanty, Head of Rural Services, TSRDS team and villagers.
