Technopark becomes nation's largest IT park

Technopark has become the largest IT park in the country with chief minister Oommen Chandy inaugurating the Phase III of the project. The CM inaugurated the Phase III's twin towers, Ganga and Yamuna, via Skype.
Technopark now has a total built up area of 7.2 million square feet with the addition of the Phase III campus developed on 92 acres of land, with the twin towers covering one million square feet area. Now, Technopark has a 333-acre campus and 285 companies, making it the country's largest and the greenest IT park. Technopark is all set for further expansion as around 451 acre of land is reserved for Technocity in Phase IV, thus increasing the total available space to 784 acres.
Five companies have started functioning in Phase III buildings and number of companies will be 30 by March.
