Telangana CM Inaugurates ₹2,091 Crore Coca-Cola Factory in the State.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages' (HCCB) new state-of-the-art greenfield factory in Banda Thimmapur, Siddipet, recently. The factory, covering 49 acres, represents a total planned investment of ₹2,091 crore, with ₹1,409 crore already invested in the current phase. The facility features seven advanced production lines and is set to create direct and indirect employment for 410 people.
Chief Minister Rao highlighted the importance of the project, saying, “HCCB’s investment in Banda Thimmapur reinforces Telangana’s position as a key destination for global industrial investments. We are committed to fostering a business-friendly environment that will create jobs, uplift local communities, and contribute to the region’s overall development.”
Juan Pablo Rodriguez, CEO of HCCB, praised the facility’s advanced manufacturing technology and sustainability efforts, noting, “This factory sets a new benchmark in our industry, combining innovation with sustainable practices.”
This new facility is HCCB's second in Telangana, complementing its existing plant in Ameenpur, Sangareddy District. Together, both factories represent a combined investment of ₹3,798 crore and provide employment for over 1,000 people in the state.
