The Ramco Cements Ltd Announces Expansion of Clinkerisation Capacity

In a strategic move to enhance its operational capabilities, The Ramco Cements Ltd has successfully completed the de-bottlenecking of the Pyro Processing System at its Kolimigundla Cement Plant. As a result of this optimization initiative, the clinkerisation capacity has been revised to 3.15 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). The company received the Consent to Operate from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board for this increased capacity on December 7, 2023.

The Kolimigundla Cement Plant's existing capacity of 2.50 MTPA is currently operating at full capacity utilization. With the successful de-bottlenecking efforts, an additional capacity of 0.65 MTPA has been seamlessly integrated, reflecting The Ramco Cements Ltd's commitment to efficiency and capacity expansion. This development positions the company to meet growing demands in the market and reinforces its standing in the cement industry.
