TS Offers to Help WB Execute Water Grid.

Panchayat raj minister KT Rama Rao has assured that Telangana government will provide all help to West Bengal in implementation of the water grid programme.He gave the assurance when a team of officials from West Bengal called on him recently to study the Telangana Drinking Water Programme.

West Bengal Water and Sanitation Support Organisation (WSSO) director Animesh Bhattacharya and public health engineering department (PHED) official Roy met Rao at the behest of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.

The West Bengal officials told Rama Rao that Mamata Banerjee was planning to replicate Water Grid in West Bengal. Earlier, the West Bengal team interacted with the Water Grid officials at RWS office. State government officials gave a PowerPoint presentation on the ongoing work of Water Grid.
