UltraTech Boosts Capacity by 1.4 MTPA Through Efficiency Drive.

UltraTech Cement, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, has announced the successful completion of debottlenecking and efficiency enhancement projects across its various plant locations. These strategic initiatives have resulted in a significant boost to the company's production capacity, adding 1.4 million tonnes per annum (mtpa).

The capacity expansion includes the addition of 0.6 mtpa of grinding capacity at its Nagpur facility in Maharashtra, along with 0.8 mtpa across its Panipat and Jhajjar units in Haryana (0.4 mtpa at each location).

With these additions, UltraTech's total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity now stands at an impressive 184.76 mtpa. When factoring in its overseas operations, which contribute 5.4 mtpa, the company's total global cement production capacity has reached 190.16 mtpa, further solidifying its position as a leading global cement manufacturer.
