UltraTech Cement Boosts Arakkonam Unit Capacity by 1.2 MTPA.

UltraTech Cement, India's leading cement producer, has successfully commissioned an additional 1.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of grinding capacity at its existing plant in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu. This capacity expansion is part of the company’s broader plan, which includes increasing its total output by 22.6 MTPA, as announced in June 2022.

With this latest addition, UltraTech’s total cement production capacity now stands at 156.06 MTPA. The company continues to strengthen its position as a key player in the cement industry, enhancing its production capabilities to meet rising demand across the country.
