Vibrant Gujarat Summit: Ahmedabad city signs MoUs totaling Rs.27,000 Cr Ahmedabad Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will be signing 158 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) totalling to Rs 27,000 crore, during the two-day Vibrant Summit starting Wednesday.

The project with single largest investment proposal is a housing colony planned by a corporate giant. The company has plans to invest Rs 800 crore for this project.

AMC has received proposals from at least 10 city-based real estate players for establishing new hotels at different locations in the city.

The AMC officials said that three hospitals are also expected to come up within city limits.

The MoUs are also includes sports complexes, floating restaurants, a duckbus, along with garbage and drainage water treatment plants. In addition, there are six proposals to set up plants for energy generation from solid waste and water treatment plants. a floating restaurant on Sabarmati river.
