Wavetronix LLC Acquires Kochi Infopark Software Consulting Firm, 42Square

In a significant development, 42Square, a distinguished software consulting firm located in Kochi Infopark, has officially announced its acquisition by Wavetronix LLC, a global leader in intelligent traffic solutions headquartered in Utah, United States.

The newly formed venture, FortyTwo Square Solutions Pvt Ltd, serves as a subsidiary of Wavetronix in India, operational since April 1st. This collaboration aims to synergize the expertise of 42Square’s team with Wavetronix’s vision, promising innovation and excellence in intelligent traffic solutions while signaling the company's expansion into new territories.

Wavetronix, renowned for its radar traffic detection solutions, is set to enhance its capabilities with the addition of 42Square’s expertise. With its traffic products installed across all 50 US states and successful completion of large traffic projects globally, including in countries like the United Kingdom, France, Russia, and Taiwan, Wavetronix is driving advancements in traffic systems worldwide.

As part of the acquisition, 42Square will assist Wavetronix in establishing an Innovation and Research lab to conduct research on developing new devices in the traffic solutions sector and expanding embedded solutions services to other sectors.

David Arnold, Founder of Wavetronix, outlined plans for setting up an electronic manufacturing facility in the region to cater to the export market. He also announced substantial investments over the next five years to expand the subsidiary's workforce, a move poised to create job opportunities and contribute significantly to the Indian manufacturing sector.
