Welcure Drugs & Pharma to Invest ₹80 Crore in New Agro Pharma Research Lab.

Welcure Drugs & Pharmaceuticals announced its plan to invest an estimated ₹80 crore to establish a new, state-of-the-art Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) research laboratory. The facility will be dedicated to agro pharma research.

The total project cost, ranging from ₹70-80 crore, will cover laboratory infrastructure, pilot lines, and advanced analytical and quality systems.

The new lab's design and processes will adhere to strict cGMP standards and the US FDA’s Botanical Drug Development guidance. This alignment is a strategic move to help the company expand its reach into international markets for its botanical and Ayurvedic products, pending all necessary regulatory approvals.
