WSP reappointed as independent engineer by Amman's Queen Alia International Airport.
WSP has been reappointed as the independent engineer by Amman's Queen Alia International Airport, in a joint venture with Jordanian Consultant Consolidated (CC), for the new passenger terminal valued at USD 801 million.
The construction of the terminal comes under a public-private partnership agreement between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Airport International Group.
The joint venture has also been re-appointed by the project financiers, led by the World Banks’ IFC and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB).
WSP has been providing independent engineering services at Queen Alia International Airport since December 2007.
In addition, WSP has worked on several projects such as the new Hamad International Airport in Doha, Heathrow, and Gatwick airports.
