15 NSP Projects completed in Khost province
Kabul: Fifteen National Solidarity Programs (NSP) projects were completed in southeastern Khost province, while the work of 75 wells and construction of 225 toilets began in northern Jozjan province.
In a press release issued from Ministry of Rural Rehabilitations and Development (MRRD) stated that fifteen projects were completed at the cost of over 11 million afghanis in Musa Khil, Jaji Maidan, and Spira districts of Khost province.
The press release read that the projects consisted of leveling 14 km road, 60 meter supportive wall, 74 wells water network and construction of a pool and two social centers.
The source said over 2000 people will benefit from the projects.
In another report the work of 75 wells and construction of 225 toilets began in Shabarghan, capital of Jozjan province.
Muhammad Jan Tamkin, spokesman of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department (RRDD) said that the project will be completed in two months.
He said over 2000 families will benefit from the projects.
Tamkin said that the projects will be completed at the cost of 4.9 million afghanis under NSP by Community Development Councils (CDCs).
