7 companies bid for VUDA master plan.
Seven firms have submitted bids to the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) for preparation of a master plan, including review and revision of the existing master plan and zonal development plans.
The VUDA issued the notification in February seeking consultancy support and preparation of the master plan for an area of 5,573 sq km. In response to the notification, seven firms have submitted technical and financial bids.
Aarvee Associates Engineers and Consultants and Surbana International Consultants of Hyderabad, EGIS India Consulting Engineers of Secunderabad, Department of Architecture, Andhra University College of Engineering of Visakhapatnam, Feedback Infra of Gurgaon, LEA Associates South Asia of New Delhi and Rudrabhishek Enterprises of Noida are the firms that submitted the bids.
The technical bids were placed before an expert committee for evaluation on Monday. The consultant would be finalised in a few days and the decision of finalising and assigning the job to the selected firm would be taken duly obtaining permission from the Election Commission in view of the election code in vogue, according to a press release.
