Brigade links with Sheraton for hotel in Mysore

Bangalore: Brigade Hospitality Services, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Brigade Enterprises a Bangalore-based real estate development company, has signed a management agreement with Sheraton Hotels and Resorts to manage a new-build Sheraton Hotel in Mysore.

The company in a release said Sheraton Mysore Hotel will be part of a four acre development that will include commercial space, in addition to the hotel.

The 220-room hotel will include over 15,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, four restaurants with an all day dining outlets, lobby lounge and pub, a bar, health club, spa and a business centre.

M R Jaishankar, CMD of Brigade Group, said “Mysore has always been a second point of focus for us at Brigade. We are therefore happy to add a valuable hospitality property to the royal city. Managed by a reputed hotel chain, the new luxury hotel will enhance the quantity and quality of the much needed accommodation at Mysore, which is already one of India’s greatest tourist destinations.”

Also speaking on the occasion, Vineet Verma, CEO, Brigade Hospitality Services said, “We are glad to further strengthen our partnership with Starwood Group for the development of the Sheraton Mysore Hotel. Mysore being one of the prominent cities of Karnataka, promises considerable growth potential in travel and tourism.”
