ICMR & ACAR jointly to launch health foods mega project

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) have planned to take up a mega project worth Rs 500 crore on health foods as directed by the Planning Commission of India.

ICAR and ICMR together would submit a mega project of Rs 500 crore on health foods to the Planning Commission of India. Members from these two institutes had a meeting to finalize the mega project
