Multiple projects green-flagged by CM.

Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami recently inaugurated the Skills Development Corporation at MIT Chromepet, Anna University and other engineering colleges, built at a cost of ₹546.84 crore, through video conferencing.

According to a statement, the move follows an announcement made by former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in 2016, regarding establishment of a Centre of Excellence and technical skills development institutes in partnership with Siemens and Designtech.

The Chief Minister launched a new software application for e-procurement of paddy by Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., developed at a cost of over ₹7.6 crore.

About 2,100 tablets and printers have been procured and one each has been distributed to the procurement centres to ensure implementation of the project.

He also inaugurated the new buildings of the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department constructed at a cost of ₹15.66 crore through video link.
