NABARD Inaugurates Regional Office in Vijayawada.

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has officially opened its new Andhra Pradesh Regional Office in Vijayawada, marking a significant milestone for the state’s agricultural and rural development efforts.

Previously, NABARD’s operations for Andhra Pradesh were managed from its Hyderabad office since the state bifurcation a decade ago. To bridge the gap, a liaison office was set up in Vijayawada to coordinate with the state government and stakeholders.

With the new facility now operational, the bank’s staff dedicated to the Andhra Pradesh region will fully transition to the Vijayawada office.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Andhra Pradesh Agriculture & Cooperation Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, and NABARD Chairman Shaji K V, reflecting the importance of this development in fostering closer collaboration between NABARD and the state government.
