Titagarh Rail Systems Bags Contract from Banaras Locomotive Works.

Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has won a new contract valued at ₹91.12 crore from Banaras Locomotive Works. The order is for the supply of complete shell assemblies for WAG-9HC Locomotives.

The company announced it received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the contract. The deal will see Titagarh provide essential components for the WAG-9HC, a powerful class of electric locomotives used for heavy freight transportation across the Indian rail network.

This new order strengthens Titagarh Rail Systems' position as a key supplier to Indian Railways, contributing to the country’s ongoing efforts to modernize its rail infrastructure and locomotive fleet.
