Nani for widening of NH-65.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) has urged the Central government to widen the Vjiayawada-Hyderabad (NH-65) road as four lane road near Nandigama and Kanchikachela.

Raising the issue during zero hour at Lok Sabha recently MP said that though the NH-65 was widened as four-lane between 2002 and 2004, a section remained two-lane.

Many accidents were taking place in view of two-lane road at Nandigama and Kanchikacherla. Traffic in those towns have also increased considerably. In view of these facts, the government was requested to take steps to widen the highway, he said.
