Pak: District Council approves 160 development schemes
Hyderabad: District Council Hyderabad has approved 160 development schemes for the year 2008-2009 in various sectors, which will cost an amount of Rs 495 million for completion.
These schemes are being completed in road, education, health, agriculture, citizen community board, physical planning and housing as well as completion of government offices and buildings and after completion, the citizens of Hyderabad will get basic rights at their nearest.
It was stated by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Hyderabad Ali Ahmed Lund while reviewing the development schemes under Annual Development Programme 2008-2009 here at his office.
He called upon the officers concerned to utilise all available resources for completion of ongoing and new development schemes under ADP 2008-2009 so that the citizens could get facilities within a short span of time.
The DCO was informed that 50 per cent work on 160 development schemes approved by District Council Hyderabad have so far been completed with an amount of Rs 46.551 million while efforts are being made to complete these schemes within the stipulated period.
