Zen Diamond Plans Major India Expansion: 100 Stores in 5 Years.

Diamond jewellery brand Zen Diamond is setting its sights on a significant expansion in India, with plans to open 100 stores across the country by 2030. The focus for these new outlets will primarily be on quality malls, a senior company executive confirmed.

Currently, Zen Diamond operates two stores in Mumbai. However, rapid growth is on the horizon, with the company having already secured agreements for three additional locations: two in South India and one in the North. This will bring their total store count to five by the end of this calendar year.

"We are looking at retail expansion in India. We are planning to have 100 stores across India in the next five years, initially in the major metros, followed by tier II cities," Neil Sonawala, Managing Director of Zen Diamond India, told PTI.

This ambitious expansion strategy underscores Zen Diamond's intent to capture a larger share of India's burgeoning diamond jewellery market, reaching a wider customer base in both major urban centres and emerging tier II cities.
