23 road corridors to get a makeover.

With 23 road corridors in the city and suburbs being strengthened and improved as part of traffic diversion for Kochi metro, agencies that have scheduled road cutting work for cable and pipeline work have been asked to complete their works this month.

The Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) plans to resurface and improve these roads using Bituminous Macadam and Bituminous Concrete (BMBC) as part of a Rs. 31-crore makeover. The roads will be upgraded by March.
