ABDL Unveils New Blended Malt Scotch in Luxury Portfolio Expansion.

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABDL) has expanded its luxury offerings with the launch of ARTHAUS Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, debuting in Mumbai with plans to reach 10 key markets by the end of December. Priced at ₹4,800 for a 750 ml bottle, ARTHAUS aims to capture premium consumers, initially available in Mumbai and Pune and soon expanding to states like UP, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka.

ABDL Managing Director Alok Gupta highlighted that ARTHAUS represents the company’s entry into the luxury segment, with a curated blend of premium Single Malts. "This is a key addition to our premiumisation strategy,” Gupta said, noting that ARTHAUS joins other luxury portfolio products like Zoya Special Batch Gin and Russian Standard Vodka. Gupta confirmed plans to add two to three more brands to ABDL’s luxury lineup, targeting both off-premise and on-premise consumers.

In addition, Gupta revealed plans for limited and cask variants of ARTHAUS, anticipated within the next six months. The company is also preparing to launch ARTHAUS in duty-free outlets and expand exports, following ABDL's footprint growth from 14 to 22 countries over the past year.

ABDL ranks as India’s third-largest spirits company by annual sales volume over the last decade, with a diverse portfolio of ‘millionaire’ brands like Officer’s Choice Whisky and Sterling Reserve Premium Whiskies. In FY24, the company operated 33 manufacturing units, including nine owned bottling facilities and one distillery.
